Dear 2023 - Thank You

Dear 2023,

Whew! You brought with you many things.

You challenged us, stretched the depths of our humanity, forced us to look at the mirror in front of us and the mirrors around us. You asked us who we really were and waited not so patiently for the answer. You sat us in the corner at times, telling us to think about ourselves and our actions. You forced us to look at time in a whole new way. To be compassionate. To stand up and speak up for what was in our hearts and to LISTEN to those around us - to their pain, to their suffering, their joy and their silence.

I don’t know about you but I am ready to step into 2024 with renewed resolve. Pluto is moving out of its 15 year “imma let you struggle and learn and grow no matter what phase” and I may just throw a party for that singular reason. I didn’t know if my health would hold me in this last year and death seemed like a real possibility. Realizing that I was at complete peace with that shifted something deep within me that is continuing to evolve. And I am definitely one for the continuous evolution of self. I feel stronger each day and I feel grateful each day for the blessings in my life. I do not take them for granted. My prayer is that our collective evolution can continue to bring in the change we want to see on this beautiful Earth home we have.

I wasn’t ready to step into my power before as Spirit was still cooking me on the stove. Things had to be just right. The seasonings well thought out and used to perfection. I had to be patient for the divine timing of the cosmic “ding” - it is now done. And maybe you have felt that way too. Maybe you have had to partition yourself away from others as you were tended to by your ancestors or light beings who loved you deeply and wanted nothing but the best for you. The ones who protected you from being seen too soon. From making mistakes too publicly and allowed you the grace of your own company for a while.

When we are ready and the stage has been set for whatever our soul came here to do, there is nothing that can stop it. I know that now and I hope you do too. If you didn’t, allow yourself the grace of breathing a sigh of knowing you are nurtured.

So - Welcome to 2024.  May this change in the calendar bring with it blessings and abundance for you and those you love.  I thank each and every one of you for allowing me to serve you, for being in my life and for existing.  May you feel powerful and free.  May you feel your divinity and allow it to shine forth.  May your body be blessed with health and power.  And may you always feel aligned with what is for your highest good.
